Damaged items

If your items are damaged or faulty in some way, please let us know right away.

Email sales@rume.nz or call Shontelle on 027 293 7420 as soon as possible. 

If we require the item(s) to be sent back to us, we will arrange a courier to pick your package up.  We'll then send a replacement to you, or if we can't replace it, we'll refund you in full or offer you a credit.

Something else not quite right?

To return your item(s) for an exchange or credit, come and visit us at the store or email sales@rume.nz

Items must be returned within 14 days of the purchase date.

Once you return your purchase to us, we'll set up a credit or exchange for you, or a refund if necessary.

Items must be unused and in the original packaging, in as-new, saleable condition and we will need to see your proof of purchase.

We do not accept change of mind returns on art or large items of furniture.

    Sending Returns back to us

    We recommend using a tracked service (courier or NZ Post tracked), as the item is still your responsibility until it gets to us and if a package is lost.

    Cost of Shipping Returns
    As with most online stores, the
     cost of shipping returns back to us is the customer's responsibility, however we can negotiate this one a case by case basis.   Please ensure you use a tracked service.

    Shipping costs of your original purchase are non-refundable - the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund/exchange amount.  We may also charge for shipping exchange items out to you.
